Wednesday, June 22, 2011: Mark and Paula were out to enjoy live music at the Senior Citizen Center in Brainerd. The Vagabonds from Motley, Minnesota, were playing that night. (l-r) Bruce, Bill, Neil, and Junette. |
Bill was a real live wire. He ran the show and told jokes. One of his stories was about the butcher who accidentally backed into a meat grinder and got a little "behind" in his work. |
Many couples got up and danced to the old-time music which included, Shine on Harvest Moon, Piano Roll Blues, Mister Sandman, I Love You Because, On Moonlight Bay, and much more. |
Junette was interesting. She played the piano very well
even though she does not read a note of music. She just plays what she
wants to hear and it sounded great.
