         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

Saturday evening, June 4, 2011:  Mark and Paula set sail on the first official cruise of the Minnow this season on the sky-blue waters of Gilbert Lake. 

Along the way, they spotted some loons.  They are a common sight on this lake.

Another form of water animal is the fisherman.  They ply the waters of Gilbert Lake in hopes of hooking a big one.  The lake is know for Northern Pike, Blue Gill, Bass, and Crappie. 

Herons are seen from time to time on the lake as well. 

Finally, sunset looked fairly good that day.
