Wednesday, June 1, 2011:  The father and son team of Mike and Jason Kitzman came by to install the pier at Gilbert Lodge.  Some call it a lake dock.  Their company is Norlake Dock Service in Baxter, MN, 218-820-2490.  They are great people.

Mark was in the water helping with the operation.  This photo was taken after the pier/dock was successfully installed in the water and leveled.  The large block of white foam was used to help float the last section into place.

Now, all that is needed is for the Minnow to show up.  

Friday, June 3, 2011:  The Minnow arrived via trailer from Brainerd Sports and Marine.  The Minnow is a 20-foot pontoon boat with a 40-horse Mercury outboard motor.  Mark Kurse, back to the camera, is the one who made the drop off.

The sky was gloomy looking, but the weather man assured us that blue skies are on the way.
