Sunday, May 8, 2011:  It was Mother's Day and Mark visited his 94-year-old mom, June.  She is still getting around fairly well although her eyesight and hearing are diminished a bit.  June was born, raised, and still lives in Minnesota.   

Mark was born a "baby boomer" in 1947 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota.  It has been said that Brainerd is all the further he has gotten since then.  In truth, there have been a few stops along the way, but he is in Minnesota because he is a true Minnesotan.  Ya sure you betcha!
