Friday, May 6, 2011:  The Dynamic Duo of Mark and Paula Persons took a trip to Duluth, Minnesota.  The famous Aerial Bridge is an gateway for ships to the city from Lake Superior.  This view is from the tourist information center high on the hill approaching the city.

The north shore board walk as seen from Fitger's.  This place was a beer brewery at one time.  It is now an inn and shopping/dining experience.     

Birds were out fishing for lunch that day.

The French River just below the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources fish hatchery. 

Even ducks like the place.

Fishermen are commonly seen at the mouth of the river trying their luck on trout.  Ships pass this way often to and from Duluth, which is truly an international port city.
