Friday, April 14, 2011: After dinner at the Brainerd American Legion Club, Mark and Paula were off to a concert put on by a United States Air Force Academy Band, the Academy Winds. |
They played a variety of classical and popular music to a full-house at Tornstrom Auditorium in Brainerd. |
On of the numbers included tap dancing, which was fabulous and well received. It was part of a number they called "Touch o' the Irish." |
A Xylophone-type instrument was used in one song with it's tubular-bell sound. The audience loved it so the musicians came back on stage to play even more music. |
On this day plus one in 2008, Mark and Paula celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. |
Quote of the day: Great music from great people. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
