Friday, March 25, 2011: Mark and Paula attended a Grassroots Concert in Nisswa, Minnesota. Performing that night was a trio of of traditional Irish musicians known as Chulrua (cool-ROO-ah). The event was held at the Live Well Nightclub and Coffee Bar. |
Eamon O'Leary played guitar and did some singing although most music was purely instrumental. This Irish music really plays to the heart. |
Patrick Ourceau was on fiddle and really got into the feeling of the music. A real crowd pleaser. |
Paddy O'Brien played button accordion. The group played to great applause from an audience of about 200. They even came back after curtain call to play another two songs. A fun time was had by all. |
Quote of the day: You can never hear too much good Irish music. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
