Wednesday, March 9, 2011:   Old Man Winter has not yet released his grasp on the Midwest.  This scene was from western Minnesota where a few more inches of snow fell overnight.  Take heart....spring is coming. 
A fire in the Grand Fireplace at Gilbert Lodge looked good that evening.  Nothing like warming in front of a fire on a winter day.  
Thursday, March 10, 2011:  Mark was at Mills Motors in Brainerd, MN, having the oil changed in his van.  Kelly Walker, from Mills, was there to offer donuts to patrons. The people at Mills are very good with customer service.

Only 7 days until St. Patrick's Day.
