         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

August 4, 2010:  Mark and Paula were out at the Crow Wing County Fair.  Who could go there without ordering a Bar-B-Q turkey leg for dinner?  Great stuff from a cook who enjoys showing what she does.  The turkey was the "pick of the fair" according to Mark who gobbled one down.

Paula ordered a wonderful hamburger with cheese.  She was a happy camper.

The fair had many fine examples of home-canned foods including these dill pickles.

New this year was a mechanical riding bull, which eventually managed to throw this teenager off.
