July 29, 2010:  There are plenty of wild flowers on the grounds at Gilbert Lodge this time of year.

(l-r) Paula "Gilligan" Persons, Linda Thiesse, and her husband Dwight.  The Thiesse's went out on the Minnow with Mark and Paula on Gilbert Lake after dinner.  Linda is a semi-retired accountant.  Dwight is a retired dairy farmer and now semi-retired farmer.  It is too complicated to explain.

Out on the lake they saw several loons.  They are a little shy around humans.
