July 18, 2010: Chef Paula was in the Gilbert Lodge Galley preparing chicken with a secret rub.

Paula put the chicken the Bar-B-Q making her famous "beer-can chicken."

Paula also made potato salad without mayonnaise.  Instead it had cheery tomatoes, sweet onion, black olives, capers, chopped basil, crushed red pepper, olive oil, and feta cheese. 

Everyone had a great time on the Promenade Deck at Gilbert Lodge.

Even the brownie and old fashioned ice cream dessert went well.  The brownies had sour cherries, which were the opposite end of the taste spectrum from ice cream.  The two together was excellent.
