June 13, 2010:  Paula's mother, Ione Timman, died on Sunday night, June 13th at the age of 78.  This photo is from the 60th wedding anniversary of Chet and Ione on January 7, 2010.  Ione lived in the Carefree Living Assisted Living center in Brainerd for the past few years.  Paula was there playing music on her Mountain Dulcimer when Ione passed away.

 The funeral was held Friday, June 18th, at the Park United Methodist Church in Brainerd. 

Life is a long road with many turns.  May Ione rest in peace.

June 14, 2010:  We have some great friends.  (l-r) Newel, Kirsten, Teresa, and Elena Hirst.  Teresa is a wonderful mother of three and cook.  She prepared a complete meal including quiche, home-made bread sticks, and dinner salad with greens from her garden.  Kirsten baked the cookies.  A delphinium flower was a very nice center piece.  It was a perfect way to help in a time when assistance was needed.
