         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

January 4, 2010:  It was finally time to move Paula's dad, Chet Timman, into a nursing home for assisted living.  His joke was that it would be a cold day before he moved.  Well, it was 27 degrees below zero.   

Chet had lived in the same house for 48 years.  Paula is seen here moving dad's favorite chair.  Also transported to the home on that cold morning were his television set, TV stand, and many other personal belongings. 

Chet seems to be doing just fine.  His new address is room 317 at Carefree Living in Brainerd, MN.  He gets three good meals a day and has lots of other folks to socialize with.

Thursday, January 7th: Chet and Ione celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.  It was really convenient because they are now both residing at Carefree Living.
