February 12, 2010:  Sunset on Friday afternoon.

It was Chef Paula's night off so she and Mark went to the American Legion Club in Nisswa, MN, for dinner.  Chef Tom Johnson of American Gourmet Catering prepared jumbo fried shrimp to go with sirloin steak.  He really does a nice job with the food.

It was lots of fun too.  Paula loves to meet and talk with people.

February 13, 2010:  Relatively warm temperatures overnight and some humidity resulted in heavy frost on the trees.

We (Mark and Paula) were off to a Hamfest in St. Cloud, MN, where a huge crowd showed up to buy, sell, and trade electronic and amateur radio gear.   

From there we went to Mongo's Grill in St. Cloud for lunch.  We picked the ingredients and they grilled the food while everyone watched. 

Great stuff, Paula and I really like it.  She is wearing her shirt with bears and pine trees....how Minnesotan!

Only 32 days until St. Patrick's Day.  

Quote of the day:  It is good to get out in the winter to avoid cabin fever.  Mark
