Friday, October 22, 2010:  Dave Weisteroffer from Consolidated Telecommunications in Brainerd, MN, came by to complete a fiber optic link for high-speed Internet at Gilbert Lodge.  Dave is seen here in the Tech Room at the lodge.  This 5 Mb up and down connection replaces a 768K up/1.2 Mb down DSL modem.  The price is right, $30 per month with no contract.  Good going, Consolidated! 

The results were good.  Gilbert Lodge never looked better on the Web.
