Saturday, October 16, 2010:  Mark and Paula found and photographed an old farm house where the great granddaughter of the original owner still lives in western Wisconsin. 

Then it was off to the The Kitchen shop in Stillwater.  Chef Paula likes the place and purchased some items for the Grand Galley at Gilbert Lodge.

Finally, the Dynamic Duo traveled to the St. Croix Vineyard were there was live music.  Just right for sipping wine.

Since it was apple season, there was apple everything for sale including these apple cider donuts and apple bratwurst.

Paula liked the cider float with apple cider and cinnamon ice cream.  An unusual,  but surprisingly good combination.

Mark was examining the wine for the wine cellar at Gilbert Lodge.  Hmmm...looks good, but is it good enough for the guests at the lodge?  Stay tuned for the answer.
