Mark was watching Paula, in the Chef's Galley, at Gilbert Lodge.
She was
cooking a Grand Puffy Pancake for breakfast. 

 

According to Chef Paula, the Ingredients are:

Large Eggs

1 cup

Whole Milk

1 cup

All purpose flour

2 tablespoon

Granulated sugar

¼ teaspoon

Salt

2 tablespoons

Margarine or butter

Directions:

1.   Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

2.   Prepare pancake:  Place 10-inch skillet with oven-safe handle in oven; heat until very hot.  In blender at medium speed, combine eggs, milk, four, sugar and salt until smooth.

Remove skillet from oven; add margarine and swirl until melted.  Pour batter into hot skillet; bake 15 minutes or until puffy and golden. 
 



The Grand Puffy Pancake was quartered and served with Wild Huckleberry Syrup from Montana.  Also, on the plate, is thick-cut bacon from Thelen Meats in Little Falls, MN.
