January 28, 2006 Paula was in the Chef's Galley at Gilbert Lodge cooking a Grand Puffy Pancake for breakfast. Mark is looking on with great pride and anticipation of enjoying this treat. According to Paula, Chef at Gilbert Lodge, the Ingredients are:
Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 2. Prepare pancake: Place 10-inch skillet with oven-safe handle in oven; heat until very hot. In blender at medium speed, combine eggs, milk, four, sugar and salt until smooth. Remove skillet from oven; add margarine and swirl until melted. Pour batter into hot skillet; bake 15 minutes or until puffy and golden.(click here to see a see a larger view) |
