 Friday, May 3, 2024: Mark and Paula headed to Amnicon Falls, near Superior Wisconsin, to see spring water rushing to Lake Superior.  Then it was off to Duluth, MN, and the north shore of Lake Superior.  Reservations were at the Boat Club Restaurant at Fitger's for a great dinner.   Who could pass up chocolate dessert? Even the birds were jealous!   The Aerial Bridge and a lookout nearby on the river walk.  Ship Presque Isle, 1000 feet long, 104 ft wide and 55,600 ton cargo capacity passed by. She has two V16 diesel engines for a total of 14,800 horsepower.   Then there was the night life in downtown Duluth. |
