Monday, May 30, 2022: Memorial Day in Brainerd ceremonies started at the Laurel Street Bridge.
A wreath was thrown in the Mississippi River honoring those who died at sea.

Then it was on to the All Veterans Memorial for a short ceremony.

Rain caused the main event to be moved to the Brainerd National Guard Amory.
About half of the crowd is shown here.

Music was provided by the Brainerd High School Band.

Crosby-Ironton Senior Sydney Roberts read the Gettysburg Address.
Chief Warrant Officer in the Minnesota National Guard Kevin Jensen was the main speaker.

Three rifle volleys for those who died in service to our country.
