Tuesday, September 14,
2021:
Bethany Chaplin showed up from Crow Wing County to do water quality testing on Gilbert Lake. |

Skipper Mark took her out on the Minnow to the center of Gilbert
Lake Two. |
 |
|
She used a Secchi Disk to determine
water clarity. It went down 26 feet before dissappearing.
This was an improvement over the 15.5 feet measured in the middle of the summer. |
 |
|
Then there was collecting water
samples from near the surface and at the bottom. |
 |
|
Testing for chloride too.
