2021:
Deep Diver Paula prepared for her 900th SCUBA dive. She was with a group of 19 other divers who went to one of the mine pits near Crosby, MN, for a dive. |

Minnesota School
of Diving shop owner Todd Mathies explained the site, its features
and the dangers. |

Paula gave details about her
underwater camera to her good friend SCUBA Leslie. |
 |

The divers heaaded out in groups. |

Underwater is a completely different
world. |

Fish abound in these lakes. |

Where are they? Will they ever
come back from that underwater paradise? |

Finally, some did return and talked

Then she and Leslie popped up after an
hour and ten minutes. Paula received a painted rock from her friend Leslie. Nice going! |

Chow time! Lunch was prepared by
Divemaster Jill Herberg.
She is a safety in case something goes wrong underwater, ready to spring into action to help. Jill claims not to be a graduate of the Chef Cordon Bleu school, but the hungry divers love her cooking. |

Johnson's favorite is two hamburger patties in the bun. Dessert was chocolate cupcakes from his wife Tami. |
