2020: Brainerd's newest/latest/greatest fire engine is now in service. It is huge. Brainerd Assistant Fire Chief Dave Cox is seen with this modern marvel. This thing has ten tires, is 48 feet long, weighs 38 tons and is powered by a 500 horse diesel engine. Pumps can put out 2000 gallons of water a minute and the ladder will reach 100 feet! |
This is how it looked with a giant flag on July 4th, Independence Day. |
Quote of the day: Gosh, you might see this bohemuth at a fire near you someday! Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
