Monday, November 11, 2019:
Veterans Day. Ceremonies were held at Riverside Elementary School where
students sang. |

The Brainerd Color Guard was at all of the ceremonies that day. |
|
 |
 |
|
It was also Walt Straka day in Brainerd. He received an
award at the Brainerd High School. Walt was one of 64 taken prisoner of war at the beginning of World War Two. Half were killed by Japanese on the Bataan Death March or in a prison camps. |

|
Ceremonies continued at the All veterans Memorial in Brainerd. |

|
A free lunch was provided to veterans at Applebee's in Brainerd. |
|
 |
|
|
Students sang and spoke at Harrison Elementary school in
Brainerd that afternoon. |

 |

 |
| There were high- fives too! |
