Wednesday, July 31, 2019: The Crow Wing County fair continued with great weather. |
Many even danced. |
Now that's a big snow plow! |
The horse barn is a popular spot. |
The hat says, "Gas Station Alley." The engines shown were from the
early 1920s and before....just 100 years ago! |
Blacksmith Doug LaBorde of
Signature
Blacksmithing in Pierz, MN, was forging in his green cap that day.
Tom Lingwall, a retired car mechanic of Garrison, MN, was on hand to admire the work. |
Paula liked the Coast Guard Auxiliary boat, courtesy of the Uniformed
Volunteers of the Central Lakes Flotilla. She also spent time seeing flowers with ribbons. Paula does everything. |
The tractor pull was worth seeing. |
The midway. |
The rides were working as promised. |
Quote of the day: There is something magic about a night at the fair. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
