Wedne
sday, July 31, 2019:  The Crow Wing County fair continued with great weather.
Many even danced.

Now that's a big snow plow!

The horse barn is a popular spot.

The hat says, "Gas Station Alley."  The engines shown were from the early 1920s and before....just 100 years ago!

Blacksmith Doug LaBorde of Signature Blacksmithing in Pierz, MN, was forging in his green cap that day.
Tom Lingwall, a retired car mechanic of Garrison, MN, was on hand to admire the work.

Paula liked the Coast Guard Auxiliary boat, courtesy of the Uniformed Volunteers of the Central Lakes Flotilla.
She also spent time seeing flowers with ribbons.  Paula does everything.

The tractor pull was worth seeing.

The midway.
The rides were working as promised.

Quote of the day:    There is something magic about a night at the fair.   Mark    < Back to previous story Ahead to next story >
