Sunday, November 18, 2018:
Mark and Paula
headed to Duluth, MN, from Minneapolis. They couldn't pass up stopping at Tobies Restaurant and Bakery in Hinckley, about half way on the trip. Mark remembers stopping there with his grand parents back in the 1960s. A great place for donuts and coffee. |

Then they reached the visitor center at the top of the hill overlooking
Duluth and the Aerial bridge. |

Paula wanted to travel up the north shore to see the lake. |
 |
 |
|
Paula is a rock hound. She discovered this line in volcanic rock. |
 |
|
Ice was forming on rocks along the shore. Yes, winter is on the way. |
 |
| Looking south from the north shore told them that sunset was on the way. |
