Sunday, September 8, 2018:   An American Bald Eagle was spotted in a tree along the shore of Gilbert Lake.
 
Loons are a common sight on Gilbert.
 
The sun was low on the horizon with "diamonds on the water."  Many boats headed back home at this hour.
 
Mark and Paula cruised the lake just after sunset, but before it was dark.
 
The colors were vivid that night over a still lake.
