Tuesday, July 31, 2018:   A Sherriff's Mounted Patrol welcomed visitors to the Crow Wing County Fair.

There was a flag ceremony and a welcome home to Vietnam veterans.

A girl and her horse.  Luck horse!

The blacksmith shop was busy again this year.  Fun to watch.

Alpacas from the Indigo Alpaca Ranch were on hand to show off.  Their fleece is like wool and is highly prized.

My what some people come up with.  Cucumbers, a potato, and some green.

Who could resist a caricature drawing?

The Crow Wing County Historical Society has a building with many artifacts.

North Central Beekeepers have a popular booth every year featuring honey and nuts on ice cream.
They even show visitors which one is the queen bee.

Brave passengers took the Ring of Fire to be spun upside down sixty feet above the ground.

Quote of the day:     The fair is always fun.   Mark    < Back to previous story Ahead to next story >
