Wednesday, June 13, 2018:
Paul and Teresa Hirst along, with Mark and Paula, drove through the English
countryside. Hmmm...Robin Hood and his band of outlaws could be lurking here! |
They stopped at Stratford Upon Avon. English literature tells us
there is something important about this town. |
That's right, this home
is the birthplace of famous poet, playwright and actor
William Shakespeare (1562-1616). |
Like many English towns, it has lush gardens and musicians to fill the area with
sound. |
The streets are lined
with century's old homes and businesses. |
Sweet-tooth Paula was discovered in
a candy shop purchasing toffee and
licorice. She and the young sales clerk had red hair and big smiles in common. |
Quote of the day: There is a lot to see in England. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
