The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

Saturday, June 9, 2018:
Mark and Paula were passengers in the car of Paul and Teresa Hirst, driving north on the east shore of England.
Notice how Paul is driving on the left side of the road.  Mark had his eyes closed when they were meeting oncoming traffic.

This is an area of farmland at Beal, England, about six hours north of London.

A telescopic view shows nearby Holy Island.

Yes, horses live a good life here.

A boat was coming in for the day.  Time for dinner.

The Barn at Beal restaurant was open.  The bar maid was very accommodating.

(l-r) Paula Persons, Teresa Hirst, Paul Hirst and Mark Persons.  They know how to eat at this place.

The travelers continued north to the harbor of St. Abbs, Scotland.

There are statues of wives, sisters, and children peering out to sea looking for the
sailors in their lives who have been lost to the sea.

Green countryside along the sea.  A beautiful area.
Many of the town names in England can be found in America because immigrants named their towns after the ones they left.

Quote of the day:    A peaceful place.   Mark    < Back to previous story Ahead to next story >
