Saturday, June 9, 2018:
Mark and Paula were passengers in the car of Paul and Teresa Hirst, driving north on the east shore of England. Notice how Paul is driving on the left side of the road. Mark had his eyes closed when they were meeting oncoming traffic. |
This is an area of farmland at Beal, England, about six hours north of London. |

Yes, horses live a good
life here. |
A boat was coming in
for the day. Time for dinner. |

Barn at Beal restaurant was open. The bar maid was very accommodating. |

The travelers continued
north to the harbor of St. Abbs, Scotland. |
There are statues of wives, sisters, and children peering out to sea looking for
the sailors in their lives who have been lost to the sea. |
Green countryside along
the sea. A beautiful area. Many of the town names in England can be found in America because immigrants named their towns after the ones they left. |
