Club on the west side of Gull Lake, near Brainerd, MN.

The
Brainerd High School Trap and Skeet Team was out on this day
shooting clay pigeons. They use shotguns with good supervision. |
 |
|
Shooters lean
into their shotguns because the kick will push them back. |
 |
|
Young women are a part
of the team too. |
 |
 |
|
Not many clay
pigeons escaped being blasted. Most were "shot to heck." |
 |
 |
|
Plenty of spent ammunition on the
ground. Some found its way into flower arrangements in the restrooms. |
 |
| They are serious about this sport. |
