Mark and Paula
Persons spent time on the north shore of Lake Superior near Duluth, MN.
|
Paula found a
turtle made of colored rock on the shore. |
Fishing boats
were still going out in late afternoon looking for the elusive salmon and white
fish. |
The Homegrown Music Festival is
put on this weekend every year. This the the
Amazing
Grace location. |
Very interesting
music and determined artists. |
They put a lot
of energy into their music. |
Musicians outside
too. |
Even near the
Aerial Bridge. |
The Duluth
skyline at night as seen from the Aerial Bridge. |
A ship came
through at about 10 pm. People turn out at any hour to see ships
go by. It was The Atlantic Huron carrying taconite ore from the iron mines in northern Minnesota to steel mills in the east. |
Quote of the day: Duluth is a wonderful place. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
