Sunday, January 14, 2018:  On this wintery day, a young man from the neighborhood stopped by on his new birthday bike!
 
Yes, it has 4-inch wide knobby tires made for snow. 
 
Then he said it has six speeds, thanks to a transmission in the rear wheel.
 
Soon he was off to try more traveling on slippery snow and ice.  No fear!
