Friday, November 10, 2017:
Riverside Elementary School in Brainerd celebrated Veterans Day a day early.
An Honor Guard from the Brainerd American Legion, VFW, and DAV was there along with Uncle Sam. |

A huge crowd showed up for the ceremony. |
 |
|
The Honor Guard presented and saluted the flag. |
 |
|
The choir sang God Bless American and much more. |
 |
|
The students really put their hearts into it. |
 |
 |
|
There were well done speeches by enthusiastic students. |
 |
|
More singing and waving. |
 |
 |
|
Teachers were really into it too. |
 |
 |
|
There were many smiles to go around. |
 |
| One of the soldiers was presented with drawings and poems by Uncle Sam. |
