You wouldn't have Holland without a windmill.
|
A lady tour guide told about the workings of a flower
mill and described the complicated wooden gear arrangement above. |
The weather was great. Local artists were out painting away. |
Then the Dynamic Duo whisked off to the other side of town to see more. |
Here, a Dutchman was fishing using a wooden
shoe as bait. Hmmm. |
Paula couldn't pass up the chance to dance with Dutch people. Her
ancestors came from Holland. |
This young lady explained pottery making and how the maker's mark is on
the bottom of each item. |
Well, wooden shoes. People of Holland love these foot coverings. |
Of course, there was plenty to eat in Holland. |
This father was directing his children on the use of skis, with little
luck. |
Statues told the history and lifestyle of Dutch people. |
Paula took lessons from this man who was carving wood. |
In the end, Paula liked this Dutch towel with windmills. |
