Saturday, August 5, 2017:  When in St. Ignace, Michigan, do as Michigan people do. 
Stop in at a restaurant for white fish, a local favorite from the cold waters of the Great Lakes.
 

After a big dinner, Mark and Paula headed outside.  The moon was full and glowing for everyone to see.
A ferry boat was making its last crossing of the day over Lake Huron.
 

The sky was darkening, but shore lights were showing across the water.
 

Fireworks were on the schedule.  Probably a thousand people turned out to see them.
 

Nicely done as they shown bright across the lake.
