Saturday, June 3,
2017: You
couldn't drive through 50th and France Ave. in Edina, MN, this day.
It was the annual
Edina Art Fair. |
Thousands showed
up to see and buy art. |
Yes, this young guy is rightfully happy
with his work. He is
Lijah Hanley.
Nicely done. |
Great 80 degree weather. Many took
selfies to remember the day which is social as well as art buying. |
One of the latest rages is using hundred
year old hardware made into lamps and other household items. Machine Age Lamps is one of several doing this nowadays. |
Another vendor,
Artifacts by
Nomad, had a variety of bass items. Mark couldn't resist tapping out his name in Morse Code on this old telegraph key. |
One vendor specialized in teaching
youngsters to sing. These young ladies did very well. Fun to
see from
Hearts Performing Arts. |
Others found water a way to amuse
themselves. |
You can't go to a fair without something
sweet to eat! |
Interesting to see a portrait artist at
work. |
Here is an artist who works with pencil.
Yes, that is a sketch of himself. Norman Rockwell did that too. |
Quote of the day: Arts in the Park is coming up in Braienrd on July 2nd. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
