2017: Mark was a young 70 years old this day after spending a lifetime
as a radio broadcast engineer. Standing next to a tower with an no-air light in the Lodge entry, he is resting his hand on a 1929 vintage Majestic radio. Nipper the RCA dog was there too along with a ribbon microphone from the 1940s. |

Space Shuttle Columbia was first launched on this date in 1980. My how time flies. Mark is in interesting company with an April 12th birthday.
Tiny Tim was born on this date in 1930. David Letterman was born the same
day and same year as Mark. He is retired now. Mark will continue
working until the end of the year. |
