Tuesday, April 4,
2017: Mark and Paula were at the
Northland Arboretum
in Brainerd. They stopped by a bench in memory of Paula's folks, Chet and Ione Timman. Situated by a quiet lake, it is a good place to pause and rest along a trail. |
Yes, there are plenty of paths to trek at the Arb. In
fact, they boast 12 miles of trails for use in summer and winter. |
The paths include this bridge. Fun to explore. |
Crocus flowers were starting to appear. Spring is here. |
There is the old proverb, "If you come across a fork in the
road, go that way!" Fortunately there are maps at frequent intervals to help. |
There are has at least twelve exercise stations along the
trails. |
Paula had to try them all, of course. |
The Visitor Center is there for information and has nice
restrooms. This place is a meeting location for many organizations too. |
Quote of the day: Always interesting at the Arb. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
