Ruttger's on Bay Lake. It is a big annual German heritage event drawing thousands. |

A big horn signaled the time of celebration. |

Dancing was the order of the day. |

Then the
Narren
showed up. Dressed with masks, they were a real crowd pleaser.

|
Laughs all around by the audience. |
 |
|
Lots of fun that day. |
 |

Then there was the
Hammerschlagen...trying to pound a
nail in a stump with the narrow part of a hammer. Not easy to do. |

The crowd was well dressed, either with outfits that looked
like
lederhosen or with the real thing. |
|
 |

|
Mark met lots of interesting people enjoying the day.
Everyone is German for a day. You bet your schnitzel they are. |
