Saturday, September
10,
2016: The Northern Tin Street Rod Association
annual gathering was held in Brainerd. At least fifty cars from around the state were shown at Gregory Park. |
|
Judges were checking cars for a contest they held. They
were very particular. |
|
Nice paint jobs. |
|
This one
came from California. |
|
Interesting colors. They were
definitely not that color when they left the factory seventy or more
years ago. |
|
This truck
had a beautifully done engine. |
|
Better than new, this one has a Ford
gas pedal.
|
|
A 1930s
Chevy is equipped with no less than three carburetors. Bright paint
too. |
Some of the attendees arrived on this 1930s bus. Nicely
restored. |
There was this lady who looked like a mobster's
girlfriend.
|
Then it was time to
wave goodbye. |
They paraded down a
street. |
The weather was perfect that day. |
Yes, this guy was in his glory.
|
Quote of the day: They love their cars. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
