Monday, July 4, 2016:  About 25 people gathered at "Uncle Jack's Cabin" on Round Lake near Garrison, Minnesota.
The place was decked out for the annual family picnic.

Candice "Candy" Scott was carving a spiral-cut ham that day.  Added to potluck from those who attended, it was a feast.

Even the kids loved it.  Paula and her cousin Bob are into researching family history so they spent a lot of time comparing notes.
Paula says she can trace her ancestry back to the American Revolution and MAYBE back to the Mayflower.

Then the Borden lake Boat Parade started with a water skier holding a flag.

The parade was very colorful.

Entries were of all sizes and shapes.  Even the Statue of Liberty showed herself.

Back on shore, Mark was wearing his USA shirt while conversing with cousin Tom and his friend Marilyn.
Nearby, one young lady was splashing in the water compliments of her mom.

Three generations.  Jessica Timman with her baby Addie are seen with Jessica's father Bruce and uncle Jack.

Quote of the day:    Lots to catch up on every 4th of July..   Mark    < Back to previous story Ahead to next story >
