The annual
Whitefish Chain Antique & Classic Wood Boat Rendezvous was held at Moonlight
Bay in Crosslake, Minnesota.

Probably a thousand people
flock to this location to see boats with big engines and great
names.

Some boats were luxury
cruisers that have been meticulously restored with thousands of
hours of labor.

They came complete with everything you might want.

Some were fast.

Some had great names of a day
gone by.

Mark remembered
boats like this from the 1960s. This one is named, Surfin'
Bird. It looks better than new.

Mark finally decided that his
budget allowed him a boat like this model. The driver and
passenger look like they are having fun.
