There was light rain, but that didn't stop people from
attending an antique car show in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota. |
|
This 1920s Model A Ford drew a lot of attention. |
|
Deep Diver
Paula decided this Ford truck looked like a good way to get
to a difficult dive location. It is painted "Orange Crush."...a favorite of some divers. |
|
Mark liked this U. S. Army Jeep, much like the one he drove back
in the 1960s. My how time flies! |
It was complete with an M-60,
50 caliber machine gun. Note the tracer bullets that are
one every five rounds. The instrument panel was simple and understandable. |
|
This young lady liked the idea of becoming a GI Jane someday.
Well, it could happen! |
|
A
Dodge Delivery Wagon from the 1930s was nicely painted.
Someone put a lot of attention to detail into this one. |
|
A well
done image on the back of this truck. Loud speakers from
the St. Cloud Drive-In Theatre were a nice touch at this show. |
|
How could anyone pass up this Coca-Cola truck with tail lights from a 1959 Cadillac? |
Quote of the day: It seems like just yesterday when all of this was new. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
