Friday, June 4, 2016:  There was light rain, but that didn't stop people from attending an antique car show in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota.

This 1920s Model A Ford drew a lot of attention.

Deep Diver Paula decided this Ford truck looked like a good way to get to a difficult dive location.

It is painted "Orange Crush."...a favorite of some divers.

Mark liked this U. S. Army Jeep, much like the one he drove back in the 1960s.  My how time flies!

It was complete with an M-60, 50 caliber machine gun.  Note the tracer bullets that are one every five rounds.
The instrument panel was simple and understandable.

This young lady liked the idea of becoming a GI Jane someday.  Well, it could happen!

A Dodge Delivery Wagon from the 1930s was nicely painted.  Someone put a lot of attention to detail into this one.

A well done image on the back of this truck.  Loud speakers from the St. Cloud Drive-In Theatre were a nice touch at this show.

How could anyone pass up this Coca-Cola truck with tail lights from a 1959 Cadillac?

Quote of the day:    It seems like just yesterday when all of this was new.   Mark    < Back to previous story Ahead to next story >
