Beth Ann Norrgard, a Brainerd High School graduate, went on to college and a successful 9 to 5 paralegal career
for 26 years in Texas. Then in
2013, she radically changed her life to quit legal then build and live in a "tiny
house." Her blog is

Ms. Norrgard's tiny house has 112 square feet and cost $25,000 to build. She lives in
the south because the house was not designed for sub-freezing temperatures.
It is on wheels so moving from place to place is relatively easy.
Beth Ann is often found showing her home to curious onlookers. She
describes it as "simple living." There is a
Tiny House movement where people and
communities are
coming around the to idea of living small rather than large. It is
catching on, see: Tiny
House series on Home and Garden TV. For more information, you can also

American Tiny House Association.
