Thursday Night, January 7, 2016: 

Fredericksburg is "deep in the heart of Texas" where there is music everywhere. 

Did you notice?  No jacket, just short sleeves.  Great weather in January.

A lot of Tex-Mex food too.
 
Fredericksburg is a German community where they serve authentic German fare.

Yawohl.  Ya, it's good!
There is a town square in Fredericksburg.  The holiday displays were still lit for visitors to see.
 
The clock tower was especially colorful.
 
There was a nativity scene, nicely done.
 
There's a sign post up ahead.  Looks interesting.
