The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons

Saturday, December 5, 2015:

The Brainerd Noon Rotary Club provided enough volunteers to ring bells at every Salvation Army kettle location in Brainerd and Baxter that day.

Rotarians usually rang in pairs for an hour.  Paula took two shifts.

Young people were donating to help the needy that day too.  Thanks!

Kevin Larson and Mark rang too.  By the end of the day, Mark was a "ding-a-ling."

Foreign exchange students helped too at some locations.

Then the Grinch showed up to ring bells.....hmmm...even the young guy to his right was wondering what it was all about.

At least there were some sensible young people.
Rotarians also gave away candy canes to kid givers.

Mark predicts that this young lady will go far.  She has a GREAT attitude.

Quote of the day:    It feels good to give.   Mark    < Back to previous story Ahead to next story >
