         The life and times of Mark and Paula Persons
Wednesday, November 11, 2015:  Veterans Day as celebrated at Riverside Elementary School in Brainerd, Minnesota.
 
There were several very good speakers including a U. S. Air Force woman veteran.  She said serving her country in the military was a very positive thing.
It was emphasized that we would not enjoy the freedom we have today if it wasn't for veterans.
 
Students were dressed for the day and sang.
 
At least three of the students gave their own patriotic speeches.
 
The Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard that day, included Matt Gilgenbach and his sister Rose Robinson, who is a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
