Thursday,
October 1, 2015: Mark visited the
Brainerd campus of Central Lakes College to observe what kind of
training young people are getting in preparation for a manufacturing
career. Programming robots to do human chores is a part of that. |

Then it was off to Stern Manufacturing to see manufacturing in progress. This young man was inspecting a rubber part that had just been formed in a machine at high temperature. |

Some difficult jobs are left to people. Manufacturing jobs in the United States keep money here rather than sending it to foreign countries. This student is very proud of that. |
