Friday, July 31, 2015:  It was a "Blue Moon" night.  The term blue moon comes from having two full moons in a single month.
 
When the clouds cleared and a telephoto lens was employed, it was time to see the moon for what it is.  Well, it is not blue, but is certainly pock-marked with meteor craters.
