The annual Arts in the Park was held in Brainerd. Lots of people, some
dressed in patriotic clothing. |
Paul Imholt from Sauk Center, Minnesota, was there to play his
hammered dulcimer and other instruments. The celebration was honored by local royalty. Seven in total. Very nice. |
There was a car show at the north end
of the event. This 1934 Plymouth was a big hit. Nicely restored. |
Mark liked
this 1955 Pontiac that looked nicer than new condition. Beautifully done, it was reminiscent of the days of I love Lucy. This was a good day for red cars. |
Don't forget the kettle corn.
What community gathering would be compete without it? |
This lady was wonderful
with the children. Her act included a hand puppet that sang with
her. A big hit at the event. |
Then there were the belly dancers. This young lady in a wagon may be one of them someday. Meanwhile she is into hats. |
Quote of the day: Arts in the Park is always fun. Mark | < Back to previous story | Ahead to next story > |
